Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking ahead for larger groups or busy times.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, we have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. Let us know about any allergies.

Can I order takeaway?

Absolutely, order in person or message us ahead and we'll have it ready to go.

What should I order first?

Start with the sambusas, people come back just for those. The beef tibs and the vegetable stew combo are the other two most asked for.

Is there vegan or vegetarian food?

Yes. We serve vegetarian food and our vegetable combos are vegan, lentils, cabbage and all.

Do you deliver or do takeaway?

Both. We do takeaway at the truck and we deliver, or order through DoorDash if that is easier.

Is the injera really gluten free?

Yes, ours is made from teff flour, no wheat involved.

Can I book a table?

Yes, just let us know how many you are and we will have a table ready.

Can I sit down and eat, or is it takeaway only?

Both. There is seating at the truck, and some of our regulars eat in the shade by the park near the lake.

Do you take cards?

Yes, credit, debit and contactless all work with us.

Is it good for kids?

Yes, we have a children's menu and families eat with us often.

Where exactly will I find the truck?

We move around Kelowna, you have likely seen us near Harvey or at the downtown market. Check our page before you head out so you find us in the right spot.
